Ada pepatah mengatakan darah lebih kental dari air, mungkin ini yang dimaksud arti dari pepatah tersebut. Jika memang memiliki hubungan darah langsung, seringkali kelakuan, sikap atau bahkan karakter antara anak dan ayah tidak jauh beda. Ini juga yang ditunjukkan oleh beberapa foto keluarga lucu yang menunjukkan betapa dekat dan miripnya ayah dan anak ini.
